Kayleigh Macilwraith-Christie known to many as Kayleigh Christie was born on November 24th 1990 at
Whittington Hospital. She had two brothers, Steven and Paul from her mum Jean Murphy. She also had a
brother Kyle and a sister Tara from her dad.
She was a happy baby and as she grew into a toddler she was always laughing and singing.
She attended Goodinge Nursery and then went to Robert Blair Primary School. She was known by
teacher's and helpers as being happy and bubbly.
She started to go to Lumpy Hill Adventure Playground at the age of 5 and loved the freedom of the
outdoors.
She also used to go to the Drovers Day Centre where her mum was a volunteer. Kayleigh used to enjoy
listening to the old people's stories and watching them line-dancing. The old people used to
look forward to her visiting and were always asking Jean to bring her over.
BECOMING AN AUNTIE
Kayleigh first became an auntie in 1999, she was 9 years of age. Her brother Paul and his partner
Laura had a baby named Ellie. Kayleigh was over the moon and enjoyed being an auntie.
STORMONT HOUSE SCHOOL.
Kayleigh attended Stormont House at the age of 11. Kayleigh suffered from epilepsy. Her mum decided
to send her there because of her illness. Jean felt safer because Kayleigh got picked up and dropped
to school and brought back home. There were also qualified first aiders there. Whilst attending
school Kayleigh received loads of awards and certificates. In October 2003.
Kayleigh received the Jack Petchey Achievement Award.
She was well liked by both staff and pupils. Kayleigh could not tolerate
bullying and helped to stamp it out at both school and Lumpy Hill Adventure
Playground. She also didn't like to see anyone left out.
LUMPY HILL ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND.
Kayleigh started attending Lumpy at the age of 5 and loved being over there. She loved playing with
the other children who lived on the nearby Market Estate. There was always things going on such as
making open fires, arts & crafts, pottery and candle-making, baking & cooking and playing on
the structures.
As Kayleigh got older, she became a Youth Mentor, which meant that she would work alongside the
Playworker's. She set up activities and liked to do arts & crafts with the children and
also shadowed the new attenders (5 year old). Kayleigh was also a qualified first aider.
Kayleigh became the Piped Piper of Lumpy Hill, with children following her about and hanging off
her. She was an expert at pushing the children on the round the world swing.
Kayleigh wasn't your typical teenager, she wasn't out drinking and smoking and hanging out
on the street. She was considerate, caring, helpful, happy-go-lucky.
A example of this was when a new family arrived in the area, a single parent with 8 children.
Kayleigh introduced herself and welcomed the family to the area, she invited them over to Lumpy Hill
and took them under her wing. Somewhere where the children could go and play safely.
BECOMING AN AUNTIE FOR THE SECOND TIME.
Kayleigh became an auntie for the second time in 2002. She was 12 years of age. Her brother Paul and
his partner Laura had another daughter named Amie. Kayleigh was proud of her two nieces.
LUMPY HILL'S TALENT COMPETITION.
Kayleigh was one of many who entered the X Factor Talent Competition at Lumpy. She loved to sing,
from a very young age. She loved to sing Celine Dion "My heart will go on" (Love theme
from Titanic) and Whitney Houston "I will always love you". Which she sang perfectly.
Kayleigh sang "I will always love you" solo.
Kayleigh won the competition hands down, it was an unanimous decision by all three judges.
ACHIEVEMENTS IN KAYLEIGH'S LAST WEEK.
Kayleigh had a lot of achievements in the last week of her life.
Tue 11th July 06: A launch event on Market Estate, Kayleigh's art work was put up on hoardings
in Market Estate alongside ten other young people.

FOR A BEAUTIFUL ANGEL

If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We’d express all our unspoken love;
We’d have countless things to say.
︽☆︽ ︽♥︽ ︽☆︽ ︽♥︽ ︽☆︽
If we could bring you back again,
We’d say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.
︽☆︽ ︽♥︽ ︽☆︽ ︽♥︽ ︽☆︽
If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You’d know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would.
We go through life so often
Not stopping to enjoy the day,
And we take each one for granted
As we travel on our way.
We never stop to measure
Anything we just might miss,
But if the wind should blow by softly
You'll feel an Angel's Kiss
A kiss that is sent from Heaven
A kiss from up above,
A kiss that is very special
From someone that you love.
For in your pain and sorrow
An Angel's kiss will help you through,
This kiss is very private
For it is meant for only you.
So when your hearts are heavy
and filled with tears and pain,
and no one can console you
Remember once again...
About the ones you grieve for
Because you sadly miss
And the gentle breeze You took for granted
Was just...An Angel's Kiss xxxx
thank you for all your caring thoughts xxxxx
just a quick note to say thanks for all your support.
if my candles are few & far between, its not because im not thinking of you, your angels or your family.
its because im finding that i need to draw away from here during the week.
due to my working hours & my lack of sleep lately.
so i will be thinking of you all, and sending love to all the special angels xxxxxxxxxx
one again ....Thank you all xxxxx
and take care

FROM ME TO YOU X
I'm calling you from heaven
Because I know how much you miss me
Please don't cry
I wanted to talk to you
Because you see I miss you too
Just before I called you
God and I were talking
He told me how sad you've been
And he didn't want to see you cry anymore
Then he told me there was one person
Who could always make you smile
So that's why I'm calling you today
I wanted to let you know I'm safe in heaven
So wipe your eyes
There's no tears here
Only beauty surrounds me now
If you get lonely
Just close your eyes and remember me
I'm there in the corner of your heart
God gave you those memories for a reason
So take them out and think of me
I'll send you my angel kisses
'Cause I love to see you smile
Well, I have to go now
"I LOVE YOU"
Maybe it seemed like a short time we were together
But someday we'll be together for an eternity
Until then remember what I told you
I'm always with you
In fact I'm just a prayer away!
As I sit here safe in heaven
And watch you everyday
I try to let you know with signs
I never went away.
I hear you when you're laughing
And watch you as you sleep
I even place my arms around you
To calm you as you weep.
I see you wish the days away
As you beg to have me home
So I try to send you messages
So you know you're not alone.
Don't feel guilty that you have a life
That was denied to me
Oh, heaven is truly beautiful
Just you wait and see.
Please live your life and laugh again
Enjoy yourself, be free
Then I'll know with every breathe you take
You’re taking one for me.
GOD BLESS KAYLEIGH
Shine your beautiful light on your loved ones.

I see you in the evening
and the darkness of the night.
You're with me in the morning,
when all the world is bright.
I feel you in a breeze,
like a tender warm embrace;
I feel you when a snowflake
falls softly on my face.
I hear you when it thunders
and the world seems at an end;
I hear you whisper softly,
'One day your heart will mend'.
I hear you in a bird song
the humming of the bees.
Your voice is strong and vibrant
in the waves of stormy seas.
I see, I feel, I hear you,
you're there in all I do,
guiding and protecting,
until my life is through.

Not Far Away
by: Granna
When I have gone before your sight
I won't be far away
Try looking toward heaven
On a bright and sunny day
You know that you could catch
A glimps of my evanescent wings
Colours mingled together
Like indigo lemons and greens.
So If you reach out to touch them
My arms can envelope you
To give you hope and courage
To grow like you're meant to do.
So take comfort when you think of me
Keep the memories locked in your heart,
The ones that made you laugh a lot
Before I had to depart.
Common Bond
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
We have a common bond
A silver lining that binds each heart
It unites us in the end and teaches a brand new start
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
We've each experienced heartbreak
Like a rushing river's flow
We've felt such tears of sorrow
And we become afraid to just let go
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Overwhelmed by such grief
That reveal great aches in our soul
Wondering why love hurts so much
As we loose our sense of whole
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Our sunny days become cloudy
Our nights bring on a chill
We pray for a bright tomorrow
As we try to just get over that hill
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
We try to stay busy
Busy enough to forget our pain
And put that simile upon our face
And wonder if we're insane
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
We understand each other
Without ever saying a word
And with one small touch
We know that we were heard
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I'm grateful you have a loving family
In whom you can rely
I'm happy you have someone
To hold you when you cry
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I'm grateful to the Lord
That in His love we can depend
And I pray for each of you daily
That your hearts will truly mend
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Although our lives have changed
And the pain will some what subside
I'm truly greateful for this group
With hugs and support to be your guide
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
This thread that binds our hearts
A bond that will not fray
I thank you all for sharing
In your special way
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
My words so small I give as a gift
To this group so proud and strong
But remember when all is said and done
God bless you all life long.
